What DentalKit is

DentalKit is a small set of free, browser-based tools for everyday dental work: checking an anesthetic dose against a patient's weight, translating a tooth between charting systems, estimating what an insurance plan will cover, totalling a treatment plan, working out a recall date, and converting between the two VITA shade systems.

Who it is for

Dentists and hygienists who want a second pair of eyes on routine arithmetic, front-desk teams preparing fee and insurance estimates, laboratory staff converting shade records, and students learning the numbering systems and eruption sequence.

How we treat your information

Nothing is collected. Every tool runs on your device; there are no accounts and no uploads, which makes the site safe to use chairside without involving patient records.
Reference, not authority. Values such as dose limits, eruption ranges, fee ranges, and shade matches are widely published reference figures. They support clinical judgment — they never replace it.
Free. The tools are free to use, on any device, as often as you like.

A note on accuracy

Each calculator is tested against hand-worked examples before it is published. If you spot a figure you believe is wrong, please tell us which tool and what you expected — corrections from practising clinicians are how reference tools stay trustworthy.
